Clean, dry skinWash and dry around your lips. Lip balm, moisturiser and oils stop the tape gripping properly.

Peel a stripPeel a strip off the sheet, touching the adhesive as little as possible. The vent opens as you peel.

Pinch your lips together, press firmlyPinch or tuck your lips in slightly, place the strip across the middle, then smooth it down firmly for 5 to 10 seconds.

Peel off in the morningPeel off slowly, starting from a corner. A little warm water makes removal even easier.

What to expect

The first night feels newTaping your mouth takes a night or two to get used to. That's normal. Give it a full week before you judge it.
You can still breathe through the ventThe small vent in the middle lets a little air through, so you're never fully sealed while you get used to it.
Beard or stubble?Press it on firmly and hold for a few extra seconds so the adhesive can grip.
Corner lifting?Check your skin was clean and dry, then smooth the edges down firmly. A little extra pressure goes a long way.
